The interior of Kadir Has University’s Cibali campus measures over 45,000 square meters (the size of approximately 4 soccer fields), with classrooms, labs, and the university’s central library, in addition to faculties, institutes, the rectorate and deans' offices.

Scholarships
KHAS has an extensive scholarship program to support well-qualified international students in their studies at KHAS. 25% to 100% tuition waiver scholarships are available for undergraduate studies. 25%, 50% and 100% tuition waiver scholarships are available for Masters (with thesis) and PhD programs.
Every international student application for a KHAS academic program is evaluated for a scholarship. No separate scholarship application is necessary. Tuition reduction scholarships are awarded based on academic merit. High international or national examination scores and graduation grades are taken into consideration. Tuition reduction scholarships are subject to maintain a min. of 1.8 GPA at the end of each academic year.
So, if you are accepted for a scholarship, you still need to think for living cost in Turkey, because this is partial scholarship that only covers the tuition fee. You may like to study in Indonesia with fully funded from Sumbawa University of Technology's Scholarship!

Deadline
Last day for foreign students’ applications for 2020-2021 academic year undergraduate programs is on August 24, 2020. I have not find the deadline for Postgraduate programs, but other website wrote August 28, 2020.
Application Requirements
Application criteria:
To apply to Kadir Has University you will have to complete online application form. Before starting your application please make sure that you have ready to upload electronic copies of the required documents.
All acceptance decisions are determined based on the recommendation of the relevant admission committee and the approval of the Senate. The validity period of university entrance examinations is two years as of the date of their administration. High school exit examinations do not have any limitation on the period of validity.
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Applicants must be graduated from High School or those who are expected to graduate must successfully complete their studies prior to the enrollment date to be able to enroll in the university.
The minimum High School Certificate score requirement for students applying to undergraduate programs is 60% (out of 100%).

Documents to be submitted while filling online application form:
1. Copy of your Passport with a personal information page on it. If you don’t have a valid international passport at the time of application, please upload a copy of your national ID.
2. Copy of an official document signifying successful completion of high school diploma in many countries (if it is not in English or Turkish, it must be translated)
3. Copy of an official high school transcript national or internationally recognized test results or provisional results if not available by the time of submission.
4. Copy of English language proficiency test results if available.

English Language Proficiency for Undergraduate Students
The following examination results are accepted by Kadir Has University:
- TOEFL-IBT min. 78, 2 years valid (Kadir Has University institutional code is 7524). If taking in Turkey, the testing center has to be at the State Turkish University.
- CAE min. C, 3 years valid
- CPE min. C, 3 years valid
- PTE Academic min. 60, 2 years valid
Alternatively students can attend KHAS English Proficiency exam prior to the registration to University. Students who cannot demonstrate sufficient English proficiency must attend the KHAS English Preparatory Program for minimum 1 year, before they can start their undergraduate program.
Attendance to this program is subject to the payment of separate fees.
Citizenship Criteria:
The applications from the following students will be accepted:
- Foreign students who are either high school graduates or are studying their last year in high school,
- Natural-born citizens of the Republic of Turkey, those who have abandoned their citizenship upon the approval of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, and those who hold the Official Document for The Use of Rights Granted by The Law No: 5203, which is issued for their children under the full legal age who are registered on the document that certifies the abandonment of Turkish citizenship
- Students with dual nationality (Turkish or TRNC) who acquired, not inherited their Turkish/TRNC citizenship (Those with dual nationality, who were natural-born citizens of a foreign country but later acquired the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey)
- Turkish or TRNC citizenships and who started their middle school education abroad before 01/02/2013 and completed the last three years of their high school education abroad
- Turkish or TRNC citizenships and who started their middle school education abroad after 01/02/2013 and completed their entire high school education abroad
- Citizens of TRNC who have completed their entire high school in TRNC and have GCE A/L result
GRADUATE STUDENTS
Applicants must be either graduate of or graduating from an undergraduate program in case of applications for a master's program; and an undergraduate or a master's program in case of applications for a doctoral program, respectively.
Among admitted applicants, those who are expected to graduate must successfully complete their current programs prior to the enrollment date in order to be able to enroll in the university.
The minimum undergraduate diploma GPA requirement for students applying to graduate programs is 2.00/4.00.
The minimum masters degree diploma GPA requirement for students applying to PhD programs in 2.50/4.00
The minimum undergraduate diploma GPA requirement for students applying to PhD programs is 3.00/4.00.
Documents to be submitted while filling online application form:
1. Copy of the undergraduate or graduate diploma
2. For diplomas awarded abroad, a copy of the diploma equivalency certificate issued by YÖK's International Equivalency Office, certifying the equivalency of the diploma to that of a Turkish higher education institution (the letter of equivalence must be submitted by the end of the first semester).
3. Copy of English language proficiency test results
4. Transcript showing all courses taken and grades achieved in all higher education institutions the applicant has so far attended or graduated from. If the transcript does not provide any description of the grading system, separate documents must be provided for the grading system of the relevant institutions.
5. English Proficiency Test results accepted by Kadir Has University (if the program is fully or partially in English language)
6. Turkish Proficiency Test results accepted by Kadir Has University (if the program is fully or partially in Turkish language)
7. Copy of your Passport with a personal information page on it. If you don’t have a valid international passport at the time of application, please upload a copy of your national ID.

- Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Proficiency test min. C1
Citizenship Criteria:
In order to be able to apply to the graduate programs at Kadir Has University you will have to satisfy one of the following citizenship criteria:
- Be a foreign citizen,
- Be a natural-born citizen of the Republic of Turkey, who has abandoned his/her citizenship upon the approval of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, and hold the Official Document for The Use of Rights Granted by The Law No: 5203
- You are a natural-born citizen of a foreign country but later acquired the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey
Fall Term applications have started. Within the scope of COVID-19 measures, candidates can apply without ALES / GRE - YDS / TOEFL documents. Documentation will be required during registration in September.
