BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality are the most internationalized universities in Poland. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from all countries in the world except Poland to pursue a full-time degree in any Bachelor’s or Master’s program available at Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality.

Any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree course offered at Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality.

70 scholarships are awarded for the 2021/22 academic year.

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE/DURATION
100% TUITION FEE DISCOUNT FOR THE FIRST YEAR OF STUDIES. Vistula University Merit Scholarship covers the full period of studying under the condition of high academic and extracurricular performance during studies explained in program regulations below.

ELIGIBILITY APPLICATION 
You can apply for the Vistula merit scholarship if you: 
• are a non-Polish citizen; 
• have proven an outstanding academic and extracurricular performance; 
• have a minimum IELTS 6.0 certificate or equivalent internationally recognized certificate.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Applicants must: 
Apply online for the Vistula University Merit Scholarship Program.
• Pay the registration fee. 
• Apply for the chosen Bachelor or Master program conducted in English at Vistula University or Vistula School of Hospitality and get a conditional or an acceptance offer to commence study in October 2021 or March 2022.
• Agree with the terms and conditions of Vistula Merit Scholarship regulations. Vistula University Merit Scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to be an excellent international student ambassador and have already shown outstanding academic and extracurricular performance.

VISTULA UNIVERSITY MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM REGULATIONS
for the Vistula Group of Universities candidates (Vistula University & Vistula School of Hospitality)

#1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. These Regulations define the rules, scope, and conditions of participation in the Vistula University Merit Scholarship Program, hereinafter referred to as the "scholarship Program".
2. The Scholarship Program is organized by Vistula University with its registered office in Warsaw, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer",
3. Participation in the Scholarship Program is voluntary. Taking part in the Scholarship Program means that the participant gives his/her consent to the terms and conditions of the Scholarship Program, defined in these Regulations.
4. A Participant of the Scholarship Program may be a person who meets the conditions for participation specified in #2 of these Regulations.
5. The Scholarship Program runs from June 15, 2021, until January 15, 2022.

#2. RULES FOR PARTICIPATION AND THE COURSE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

1. The Scholarship Program is addressed to the candidates who want to commence their Bachelor's or Master's degree first semester studies at Vistula University or Vistula School of Hospitality in the Fall or Spring semester of 2021/2022 academic year in English and will Submit a full set of the required application documents and pay the registration fee by August 20, 2021, in case of registration for the Fall intake 2021/22, or by January 15, 2022, in case of
registration for the Spring intake 2021/22. Those who studied a degree course at Vistula Group of Universities before will not be able to benefit from this Scholarship Program.
2. The Scholarship Program covers the citizens of all countries in the world except Poland.
3. The amount of registration fee for individual fields of study and regions can be found on the websites of Vistula University and Vistula School of Hospitality.
4. The main requirements for participation in the Scholarship Program are:
- A minimum of 90% GPA;
- A minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent internationally recognized certificate of English language proficiency
- Motivation letter;
- Proven outstanding extracurricular performance.
Each candidate may be additionally interviewed by the Scholarship Program Committee.
5. Participants who pay the registration fee, submit a full set of the required application documents before the deadline (August 20, 2021, for the Fall intake 2021/22, or January 15, 2022, for the Spring intake 2021/22) and pass the interview (if required) may obtain one of the Vistula University Merit Scholarships, which will cover 100% of the tuition fee for the 1st
year of studies.
6. Due to the limited number of places, only the best candidates will be awarded the Scholarship.
7. The participant of the Scholarship Program may continue to be eligible for a full scholarship or a partial scholarship in the second, third, and fourth years of studies under the following conditions:
- 100% scholarship in the following year is awarded when the student has a GPA of 4.75 or higher at the end of the academic year and has been actively involved in extracurricular activities including Mentorship and Ambassador programs during the year.
- 50% scholarship in the following year is awarded when the student has a GPA of 4.5 or higher at the end of the academic year and has been actively involved in extracurricular activities including mentorship and Ambassador programs during the year.
8. In order to prolong the duration of the Scholarship Program for the next year, the participant will have to submit a petition to the scholarship Program Committee along with his/her transcript of records and the proof of the extracurricular performance during the studies no later than 1 month prior to the beginning of the next year of studies.
9. Studies will be conducted in Warsaw.
10. The Scholarship Program does not cover the cost of accommodation or meals.
11. Conditions of resignation from studies are described in the contract on the amount and conditions of charging tuition fees for study.
12. If the Participant of the Scholarship Program does not commence studies in the academic year 2021/2022 or resigns from studies at Vistula University and/or Vistula School of Hospitality during/or after the year of studies for which the Scholarship has been granted, he/she will be obliged to pay the full tuition fee without Scholarship for the whole period of previous studies. If the scholarship holder cannot continue studies for reasons beyond his/her control, he /she shall submit a documented application for lifting the obligation to return the scholarship. In such cases, the final decision is made by the Scholarship Program Committee.
13. The Scholarship Program is not combined with any other promotional offers of Vistula University or Vistula School of Hospitality.
14. Proper implementation of the Scholarship Program is supervised by the Organizer's staff, who will, if necessary, help in resolving doubts regarding the Scholarship Program rules, as well as the provisions and interpretation of its Regulations.

#3. COMPLAINT PROCEEDINGS

1. Complaints regarding the Scholarship Program must be submitted in writing to the Organizers address or otherwise invalid.
2. A written complaint should contain the name, surname, exact address of the person participating in the Scholarship Program as well as a detailed description and indication of the reason for the complaint.
3. Complaints will be considered within 14 days from the date of their receipt by the Organizer.
4. The decision regarding the complaint is the final and binding position of the Organizer.

#4. FINAL PROVISIONS

1. The Regulations are available on the website www.vistula.edu.pl and in the Recruitment office.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to change these Regulations, provided that such a change does not violate the acquired rights of the Participant. Information on any changes made to the Regulations will be provided at the Internet address indicated in section 1 sufficiently in advance.
3. Acceptance of the Regulations is synonymous with consent to the use and processing of the Participant's personal data by the Organizer in accordance with the Act of 29 August 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws of 2002 No. 101, item 926 as amended) for the purposes of conducting the Scholarship Program. The Administrator of personal data provided within the Scholarship Program is the Organizer.
4. The Scholarship Program Participant has the right to access and amend his/her data referred to in section 3
5. Any disputes arising out of the performance of obligations related to this Scholarship Program will be resolved amicably. Any disputes, which will not be resolved by way of negotiations shall be settled by the court having jurisdiction over the University's registered office.
6. In all matters not covered by these regulations, the provisions of Polish law shall apply. All materials made on the basis of these Regulations are for information purposes only.
