This is a continuation of the previous post on the Profile and Facilities of the Islamic University of Madinah Scholarships. There, it has discussed what faculties and departments are available for the undergraduate, master, to doctoral levels, as well as the facilities that students will receive as scholarship recipients during their studies at Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
Documents & Requirements for Application for Scholarships at the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia |
In this post, we will convey the documents and requirements for you those who wish to apply to the university. Applicants for the Islamic University of Madinah scholarships are required to meet the following conditions:
1. Be of good character.
2. Promise to comply with all university regulations.
3. Pass a medical test.
4. Pass the test conducted by the relevant authority.
5. Have a high school diploma or equivalent from inside or outside Saudi Arabia.
6. High school diploma must be issued by a public school or school that has been approved by the Islamic University of Madinah.
7. Fully commit to focusing on learning.
8. The period of graduating from high school is not more than five years.
9. Age not exceeding 25 years when starting to study at the Islamic University of Madinah.
10. For those who wish to study at the Faculty of Al-Qur'an, they must have memorized Al-Qur'an 30 juz.
11. Completing other requirements determined by the Council of the Islamic University of Madinah announced at the time of registration.
12. For an applicant whose high school certificate was issued by the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he/she must have a certificate of passing the ability test.
Warning:
1. There is no representative office or agent to accept applications for registration at the Islamic University of Madinah in any country.
2. Prospective students must carry out the registration process themselves and are responsible for safeguarding the numbers given to them at the completion of the registration process.
3. The Islamic University of Madinah is a scientific institution designed to convey Islamic treatises through da'wah, undergraduate, postgraduate education, writing scientific papers, translating and disseminating them, as well as preserving Islamic heritage.
4. The language of instruction at the Islamic University of Madinah is Arabic.
5. The Islamic University of Madinah is not obliged to pass any applicants who register until there is a written notification from the campus.
6. Entered data will not be accepted unless it is completed with documents proving the information.
7. Applicants with fake documents will be penalized and their acceptance will be cancelled.
8. The Islamic University of Madinah has the right to determine which student-faculty is accepted upon arrival, in accordance with applicable regulations.
9. Students who are admitted to the Islamic University of Madinah can get their ticket numbers via the internet, on the website of the Islamic University of Madinah, then refer to the airline's office.
10. Admitted students are responsible for finding and following information about the system and study rules, on the bulletin boards provided by the campus.
11. All agreements and warnings contained in this electronic file will bind the applicant as any other paper file. The applicant is also responsible for checking it regularly using his personal username and password. This also applies to all electronic transactions made by the applicant using his personal username.
12. All agreements and terms that are read and agreed upon by the applicant during this registration, will be entered into his files in Arabic.

The documents that need to be uploaded when registering for a scholarship at the Islamic University of Madinah are:
1. High school diploma.
2. High school grade transcripts.
3. Certificate of good behaviour.
4. Birth certificate.
5. Passport.
6. Identity Card.
7. Recent colour photos.
8. Photos without glasses, without head coverings, and white background.
9. Medical reports from health clinics.
10. Recommendation letters from Islamic institutions in the country of origin or from two Islamic leaders, which explain that prospective students are Muslims who maintain the five daily prayers and have a noble character.
11. Certificate of entry to Islam, for those whose Islam is not from born.
- The applicant must translate all non-Arabic documents with an Arabic translation that has been approved by an official translation office.
- If accepted, prospective students must submit original documents that have been legalized by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in their home country. If the Embassy of Saudi Arabia is not in the country, all documents can be legalized at any institution recognized by the Islamic University of Madinah.
- If there is an error in the applicant's core identity in the original document (such as name, place, and date of birth), it is expected to correct all such mistakes at the competent institution in the country, before sending it to the university, because the rules on campus prohibit changing the core identity after accepting prospective students.

For 2020, the deadline for registration is August 20, 2020.
For 2022, the deadline for registration is November 12, 2022.
